University Park Denver Homes for Sale

Across from the University of Denver, University Park is a beautiful community in the city. It’s an established neighborhood with luxury homes, access to parks, and picturesque trees and landscapes. The university campus is a source of pride for residents, and it offers some intricate architecture to the area. The neighborhood has wondrous original homes still available, and many luxury new construction homes as well.

About University Park, Denver Homes for Sale

Condos are popular in the area, likely because of the number of university students that require housing. Condos start around $250,000 and can cost up to $630,000. Many units have between one and three bedrooms and one to two bathrooms.

Multi-family homes start in the $320,000s and can cost up to $700,000. These properties have between one and four bedrooms and one to two bathrooms.

Single-family homes make up the majority of the homes for sale in University Park. Starting around $430,000 and ranging to $3,000,000. Many of the upscale luxury homes are new constructions. These homes have one to seven bedrooms and one to five bathrooms.

Living in University Park, Denver

The University of Denver is a highly respected school and landmark within the community. University Park reflects that. There are some beautiful homes for sale, many of them modern or Victorian-style homes. Large, custom-built homes are the most popular style of residence in the area. Close by is the Observatory Park, which like its name suggests, has a small observatory.

The University used to be located in the downtown core, but in the 1860s and 70s, it was relocated to the current campus, which garnered attention, and residents started moving in nearby.

University Park is just ten minutes southeast from downtown Denver, and it’s a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There are many parks and trails for residents to take advantage of, and the district is incredibly dog and kid-friendly. The community shuts down early every day, even on weekends, so it’s a relaxed place to raise kids or focus on studies.

The public schools that serve University Park are University Park Elementary School, Merrill Middle School, and South High School.

The community is very walkable, and there are many popular spots to stop at along the way. Coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping are located on the perimeter of the community boundaries, all near each other. There are also several fitness facilities, including a dance studio and a YMCA.

While there are plenty of upscale, luxury homes that make up University Park, there are plenty of affordable options available. A healthy mix of new construction homes and units suitable for students, University Park is a great place to live. Perfect for raising a family, getting an education, and starting a career in the workforce, University Park has something for every lifestyle.
