This place has its roots in heritage and history. It was previously known to be a hunting ground for Native Americans, such as the Ute, Arapaho, and Cheyenne tribes. It was then established in the 1860s and got officially incorporated in 1981. Since then, the town grew exponentially, now housing a great number of homes and residents. Currently, Parker is the 19th largest city in Colorado, with a population of approximately 58,578.
In Parker, there are plenty of activities to do, such as going for a hike, riding a bike, and eating out. There are also a lot of properties you can choose from — from single-family homes situated at golf courses to lands with a spectacular view of the mountains.
Parker offers a lot of home opportunities for those looking to stay in the community. Here, you can find expansive suburban homes and lands with a median sales price of $455,000 to $545,000. Most homes situated here stay on the market for about 26 days with three offers.
Single-family homes dominate the area with their contemporary and ranch architectural designs. They cost $350,000 and can go up to $13 million, with most containing four bedrooms and bathrooms.
Multi-residency homes are also available here. Price range is from $150,000 to $500,000. They typically consist of four bedrooms and bathrooms, too.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking to purchase a condo in Parker, some are available at a cost that could start at $250,000 and can go as high as $450,000.
Conversely, if you want to invest in land instead of a house, there are a lot of lands in the area that’s up for grabs, with prices starting from $200,000 up to $950,000.
You may look through properties in some of Parker’s popular neighborhoods, such as The Pinery, Cottonwood, Bradbury Ranch, and Cherry Creek Highlands. A majority of homes being sold can be found in The Pinery, with a median price of $700,000 to $800,000.

Access to major highways and light rail is quick and easy here. The Denver Tech Center (DTC), home to major businesses and corporations, is near the area. It takes only 15 minutes to get there from Parker by car. Downtown Denver and the Denver International Airport are also within reach. They’re only around 30 minutes away.
Stroll through Parker’s downtown, trails, and parks. Eat at Parker’s local and chain restaurants. Recommended eateries from residents include Parker Garage, Fika Coffee House, and Coffee Cabin. Watch a performance at the Parker Arts, Culture & Events Center. Take part in the town’s annual events.
