Newlon Elementary School is located in the northern section of the neighborhood, along Vrain Street. Offering education to students from pre kindergarten through grade 5, there are currently just over 400 students in attendance. The school offers a range of programs, clubs and extracurriculars to be enjoyed.
Barnum Elementary School falls just minutes to the east on Hooker Street. Students from pre kindergarten to the fifth grade can attend the primary school that is home to roughly 420 students throughout the academic year.
Kepner Beacon Middle School welcomes students from grade six through grade eight and is located at 911 S. Hazel Court. Students enjoy a range of clubs, programs and teams as well as excellent education. There are just under 400 students that attend Kepner Beacon.
Florence Crittenton High School will finalize the public school journey offering classes from grade nine through twelve. Students attending Florence Crittenton have a range of programs, courses and advanced placement classes to choose from. KIPP Denver Collegiate High School is also under 3 miles from the Barnum West Community and provides high school education options for students in the area.
